FAQ’s
1. How quick can we get the promotional CDRs back to us?
If you place an order with us on Monday (for
example), we will normally have these completed and ready to be sent out
on Tuesday so you will have them by Wednesday. If however we receive
everything we need to begin a job before 11am, we should be able to
complete the job and have the product with you the following day
2. What is the difference between CDRs & Glass Mastered CDs?
The difference is that one is predominantly used for
promotional purposes (CDRs) while the other is what you see on general
release (Glass Mastered CDs). Also the manufacture times between the
two vary quite drastically. If you're looking for a fast turnaround and
need the CDs back with you within a couple of days, then your options
are limited to CDRs as there is no way the Glass Mastered CDs can be
manuafctured in such a short space of time
3. What is the difference between DUPLICATION & REPLICATION?
DUPLICATION (CDRs) is what is commomnly known
as burnt CDs and is no different to what you would burn on any PC
except that we have the facility to manufacture large quanities in a
short space of time. These are also generally used for promotional
purposes only
REPLICATION (GLASS MASTERED CDs) is a much
slower process of manufacture but the quality of the product is far
superior to CDRs. This is the product that you would see on general
release
4. How do we pay for the product / service?
We accept a few methods of payment
1. Debit / credit card
2. Bank transfer
3. Cheques
4. Paypal
5. Do you accept credit card / debit card payments?
Yes we do, but for all credit card payments, there is a surcharge of 2.5%
6. Can you send the product to us while you are waiting for the cheque to arrive or the transfer to reach your account?
Unfortunately not. We have done this in the past and have
given people the benefit of the doubt and have been let down by either
very late payments or non payments so now we refuse to send anything
out till we know we have received payment in full. Chasing people for
payments is a nightmare and we'd rather focus on getting jobs done to
meet everybody's deadline than having to chase for payments
7. How do we supply artwork?
That is all explained on the ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS page
Please note that there is a difference between DUPLICATION & REPLICATION
and that each of those have different templates. If you're at all
unsure which is which, please feel free to call us and we will be more
than happy to go through it with you
8. How do we supply masters for DUPLICATION services?
For promotional CDRs we are more flexible as to how we accept
masters. We prefer to have these as the physical audio masters to
avoid any possibilty of errors but can also work off downloads. We will
not take any responsibilty for audio sent via the internet that has
been potentially altered before reaching us. Please remember that we
have no idea what the audio should sound like and can only go by what
has been sent as in most cases we have no point of reference
9. How do we supply masters for REPLICATION services?
We prefer to have these sent to us as the physical audio master on disc
You will need to make sure that these have been checked and
that the discs are not scratched or marked with fingerprints etc, to
avoid any delays with them having to be sent back or replaced in case
of errors
10. Where can I get the templates for my artwork?
On the DESIGN TEMPLATES page
Please be sure to download the correct templates for the job
you have in mind. If at all unsure, feel free to call us and we will
put you in the right direction so as to avoid delays
